All Entitlements Calculations are based on sample data which was extracted from the personnel entitlements for every eighteenth employee across all pay centres. 2. Airfares Entitlements are calculated using the average of the Darwin to Adelaide and Darwin to Melbourne return fares. 3. Remote Fares Entitlements are calculated using $200 as the cost of a return fare and allowing three days accommodation allowance. 4. Recreation Leave Entitlements are calculated using the top-of-range salary at employees' nominal designations for complete days of credit. 5. Long Service Leave Entitlements are calculated using the top-of-range salary at employees' nominal designations for completed years of service. Employees with between five and ten years service are allocated an arbitrarily determined twenty per cent of the full entitlement for each year of service over five years (for example, employees with eight years of service were allocated sixty per cent of their full entitlement). 79
