MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS: Tuesday 14 May 2019 3 Clause 4 agreed to with amendment. Clauses 5 to 6 considered together. Clauses 5 to 6 stand as printed. Ms Lawler moved the following amendment: Clause 7, proposed section 17B(1)(b) omit, insert (b) the hydraulic fracturing waste comes into contact with water that is contained in the geological formation being targeted by the process of hydraulic fracturing. Amendment agreed to. Clause 7 agreed to with amendment. Clause 8 considered. Clause 8 stand as printed. Ms Lawler moved the following amendment: New clause 8A After clause 8 insert 8A Section 47 amended (Declaration of exemptions) (1) Section 47, before "The" insert (1) (2) Section 47, at the end insert (2) A declaration under subsection (1) must not exempt the application of the following provisions: (a) section 60A; (b) section 67(4). New clause 8A inserted. New clause 8A agreed to. Ms Lawler moved the following amendment: Clause 9, proposed section 60A(2)(b) omit all words from "hydrogeological" to "monitoring" insert the Controller is satisfied that hydrogeological investigations and groundwater modelling Remainder of the Bill taken together and agreed to. Remainder of the Bill stand as printed. Bill as amended agreed to.
