Jarred Kersten and Mike Nuthall from Defend Fire one of more than 1150 businesses supporting Ichthys LNG. INPEX.com.au More than 1150 Northern Territory businesses have been awarded contracts to support the safe and successful construction of the INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG Project. Among the businesses to work with the Project are Territoria Civil, MMC, Defend Fire Services, Northern Testing, Redline Plumbing, Northern Cement and the Larrakia Development Corporation. The INPEX caf works closely with local suppliers. Buzzing at Bento Up to 200 meals are prepared using locally sourced products each day for the INPEX Operations team at their purpose-built caf at Bladin Point. The Bento caf is supplied by more than 10 local businesses and distributors, including Mr Barra, Simon George & Sons and Holco. Were proud to work closely with our local Darwin suppliers to ensure we have the best produce available to prepare quality dishes for the INPEX team, Lauren Jacobson, Bento Manager, said. Our professional team takes pride in preparing an average of 180 to 200 fresh meals a day, with the menu changing regularly to showcase our suppliers great produce. Bento has been specially designed to foster relationships between colleagues, with the ambience of a trendy bistro including plants on the table, colourful dcor and comfortable seating. Since construction of the Project began in 2012, Territory businesses have delivered a wide range of services including large civil works and manufacturing packages, cement production, haulage, office supplies, plumbing, safety equipment and environmental monitoring.
