Power and Water is refurbishing the West Lane water tank. The water tank refurbishment is part of ongoing maintenance to extend the life of the tank and maintain Darwins water storage quality. Vehicle access to West Lane will be restricted on Wednesday, 26 September, from 9am to 3pm, in order for crane works to safely lift steel materials as part of the upgrade of the 26-metre high structure.
