MacDonnell Regional Council Staff Newsletter SEPTEMBER 2018 volume 10 issue 4 page 15 REWARD + RECOGNITION Each month an email goes out to all staff asking them to nominate a fellow worker or a team that has been doing a great job in any of the 4 categories: Service Excellence for sustaining a high level of service and receiving consistent positive feedback from clients Innovation and Creativity for using skills, resourcefulness and creativity to implement changes to improve service, productivity or standards of work Above and Beyond for performing above what is normally required by achieving additional goals and objectives on a daily basis Sustainability for making ongoing efforts to increase Council income, decrease costs, maximise efficiency or minimise impacts on the environment. Managers then vote per month to decide who we Reward and Recognise: ___________________________________ May Reward and Recognition went to: Selwyn Burke our Community Safety Officer in Docker River for going Above and Beyond Shae Thompson our Centrelink Customer Service Officer in Mt Liebig for providing Service Excellence George Achike our Community Safety Team Leader in Docker River for going Above and Beyond ___________________________________ LEFT to RIGHT: Selwyn Burke, George Achike, Priscilla Abbott and Florrie Copper presented with one of their teams Above and Beyond awards George Achike started with MacSafe as the Community Safety Team Leader in Docker River in November last year. In that time he has led his team to be awarded with three separate Reward and Recognition awards for going Above and Beyond and has now received an individual Above and Beyond award. ___________________________________ July Reward and Recognition went to: Rex Eddie our Community Safety Team Leader in Kintore for showing Innovation and Creativity
