MacDonnell Regional Council Staff Newsletter SEPTEMBER 2018 volume 10 issue 4 page 6 After getting grubby in their gardens, the young children with dirtgirl and Costa joined Milpa the Trachoma Lizard at a washing station before joining the rest of the community at the rec centre for a special family day. Teams of people wok cooking lunch showed more ways to enjoy garden vegetables before being judged by the special guests. A fairground was created under shady gum trees by local service provider stalls, along with local bands and a jumping castle while CAAMA Radio did a live broadcast. Later, Shelley Morris sang the afternoon away with the backing of fellas from the Eastern Reggae Band.
