Driver Messenger 13 September 2018 Driver Messenger 13 September 2018.htm[19/09/2018 12:24:32 PM] At Driver Primary, one of the things we value is striving for excellence. To help students understand what it means to strive for excellence we developed the Characteristics of a Good Learner. We use the characteristics of 4 animals to teach students how to develop these important skills because we believe that understanding our values, especially what it looks like to strive for excellence, will ultimately help students to be more resilient. Check out this great video on resilience. Our characteristics of a good learner are: - Persistent (like an eagle) - Engaged (like a golden orb spider) - Reflective (like a turtle) - Co-operative (like a green ant) Here are some tips to help develop reflective learning in your children: https://driverprimary.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=7d5b28de0c39de2474a1bbcb1&id=8605901183&e=51ccabac74
