Driver Messenger 13 September 2018 Driver Messenger 13 September 2018.htm[19/09/2018 12:24:32 PM] All students then took inspiration from Johannas 2nd picture book Too Many Cheeky Dogs to write their own story featuring a dog character. The writing workshop was such a positive experience for these avid writers and they all enjoyed sharing their texts. Writers Festival Last Friday, some Yr 4-6 competition entrants attended an excursion to the Palmerston Library to participate in the Writers Festival. At this event the winners were presented with their awards by the sponsoring politicians. Students also enjoyed the intimate workshops with local authors Leonnie Norrington and Kaye Aldenhoven. The day was very exciting and our students learnt some valuable skills and techniques.
