This year Bakewell Independent Public School is celebrating its 20 Year Anniversary. The Preschool opened in 1998 and the Primary School commenced the following year with 168 students. The school has gone through significant growth and expansion since then, now catering to over 900 students. To celebrate there will be a Special Assembly followed by other activities on Friday 31 August for students, parents and carers. For past and present staff there will be a staff reunion on Saturday 1 September. More information will be distributed soon.
