"The Department of Housing and Community Development, Northern Territory Government, engaged the
Ground Up team at the Northern Institute, Charles Darwin University, to provide research and support around the development of Indigenous-led evaluation of government engagement and coordination activities in four remote Aboriginal communities. Employing a research approach that we call ‘Ground Up’, we worked collaboratively with elders, community members and local researchers to clarify local understandings and imperatives of good engagement and coordination. Through this collaborative work, we also developed systems for government to receive, and respond to, feedback on their engagement and coordination activities in remote Aboriginal communities. - Executive summary,
