The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Healing Foundation’s first healing forum, Our Healing Our Way, was held in Alice Springs on 25 October 2011. The forum was an opportunity for representatives of the Central
Australian Aboriginal community to define healing, discuss their healing needs, share information about
healing work within the community and identify the way forward. Participants identified the causes of disharmony in the community, articulated healing needs and aspirations and suggested ways to restore the balance.,
