- 25 Consulting Engineers In November 1986 Council hired the services of Sleemann Dunkley Treacy and Maun sell as Council's Consultant Engineers for a period of 12 months. Kakadu Plan of Management The Plan of Management for Kakadu National Park was revised by the Director of Australian National Parks and Wildlife and came Into effect on the 17th November 1986. Council and the Town Development Authority had had several lengthy discussions and lodged a variety of submissions to obtain A.N.P.W.S. concurrence toward several successful changes being introduced in the new Plan of Management. Jabiru Swlaalng Pool Council raised the entrance charges to the Jabiru Swimming Pool in March 1987 in keeping with the fees charged at pools throughout the Territory. Grants Ccaalsslon The Northern Territory Grants Commission still isolates Yulara and Jabiru as special considerations i.e. Special Purpose Towns. It therefore provides funding on an alternate basis to that of other Municipalities within the Territory.
