The aim was to assess the conservation status of all species of coastal dolphins in the Northern Territory
(NT) waters, identify critical marine habitat areas and support evidence-based decision-making to assist
with environmental impact assessment in NT waters. The program adds to the body of knowledge for six species of coastal dolphins at a scale that has not been documented before in the NT.,
