rain the Trainer Skill Development rogram for Beef Cattle Production : This program is an initiative o f the 'orthem Territory Government. he Project Aim is : To improve beef cattle production by implementing a structured program of workplace training_______________ he Project Objectives are: To provide a core of local people with the skills to plan, prepare, and deliver training programs in the various sectors of Beef Cattle Production . To improve the workplace performance of people operating in the beef production areas of - r ..i. Forage Management ii. Breeder Management iii. Feeder Management iv. Abattoir Management v. Meat Handling______ ________ PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO: Attend a formal program. During this three weeks the participants are expected to i. develop the skills necessary for them to become Trainers in their area o f expertise, ii. prepare at least one skill based training module for later delivery Deliver their Training Module to other people In Country. This delivery would be repeated at several locations over a three month period Reconvene with other trainers in their area of expertise in order to i. evaluate their modules and their delivery, ii. collate the modules into a skills manual for that subject area. COURSE CONTENT 1. Trainer Skill Development: Adults as Learners Training Preparation Techniques o f Training Delivery Quality Management Processes Training Evaluation 2. Module Development Skill Development Activities Trials for Improving Understandings Developing Training Support Material Presenting Training Sessions and Learning Sessions This process may take one week.
