Reg. 7 Provides that conditions for the grant of a permit may include those intended to minimise the impact on registered native title interests. Reg. 8 Reg. 9 Reg. 10 Reg. 11 Similar to Reg. 5, expands the notification requirements for applications for licences to include native title parties. Licences are usually granted to construct and operate a pipeline where as permits as usually used for investigative purposes. Similar to Regulation 6. Expands the matters the Minister must have regard to when considering whether to grant a licence to include native title aspects. Conditions for the grant of a licence may include those intended to minimise the impact on registered native title interests. S.21 B provides that where there is an application to vary the route of a pipeline notice needs to be given to registered native title holders/claimants.
