SAVE HOWARD SPRINGS RESERVE AND YOUR PETITIONERS THEREFORE HUMBLY PRAY THAT 1. No exploration or other mining activities be permitted on the Howard Springs Hunting Reserve 2. The Reserve be retained as an area of natural bush for conservation of flora and fauna and for recreational hunting for the benefit of the people of Darwin and the rural area; 3. The Reserve be extended to include other areas of the Howard River catchment and surrounding wetlands and manerove communities.
