15 BEST INTERSTATE EXHIBITOR WON BY ACT - THE CANBERRA REGION BEST INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITOR WON BY WEST NUSA TENGGARA THE REPRESENTATION BY OUR INTERSTATE COLLEAGUES WAS EXTREMELY PLEASING AND I HAVE TO SAY THE EXHIBITS WERE OF A VERY HIGH STANDARD. MADAM SPEAKER, THE ANNUAL MEETING OF ALL AUSTRALIAN TRADE MINISTERS HAS NOW BECOME A REGULAR EVENT IN DARWIN. IN THIS RESPECT WE ARE UNIQUE, AND I THINK WE CAN JUSTIFIABLY CLAIM THAT THE MEETING IS NOW REGULARLY HELD IN DARWIN IN RECOGNITION OF OUR EFFORTS IN FOSTERING TRADE AND BUSINESS WITH THE REGION. THE DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER AND MINISTER FOR TRADE AGAIN CHAIRED THE MEETING. THE 1999 TRADE MINISTERS' MEETING WILL AGAIN BE HELD IN DARWIN.
