WE ENJOY A GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH AUSTRADE AND THE DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND TRADE AND MY THANKS GO TO THE TERRITORY REPRESENTATIVES AND STAFF OF THOSE AGENCIES FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE AND ADVICE. MADAM SPEAKER, WE CONTINUE TO LEARN FROM OUR LONG EXPERIENCE WITH NT EXPO. AND I KNOW A SERIES OF REVIEWS HAVE ALREADY TAKEN PLACE AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE UNDER CONSIDERATION FOR NEXT YEARS EVENT. THESE INCLUDE STRATEGIES TO ENHANCE THE SUPPORT OF THE LOCAL BUSINESS COMMUNITY IN PARTICIPATING IN EXPO, AND MARKETING THE EVENT TO ENSURE MAXIMUM LEVERAGE FROM THE INVESTMENT IN TIME AND DOLLARS. MADAM SPEAKER, I LOOK FORWARD TO REPORTING TO YOU NEXT YEAR ON WHAT I BELIEVE WILL BE ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL EVENT. 21 I MOVE THAT THE STATEMENT BE NOTED.
