AN INVESTOR WAS IDENTIFIED FOR A RESORT DEVELOPMENT IN THE PROVINCE OF TIMOR. A JOINT VENTURER AGREED TO SET UP A PARTS WAREHOUSE SERVING HEAVY EQUIPMENT FOR BATU HIJAU. DIVING AND SAILING TOUR ARRANGEMENTS WERE FURTHER DEVELOPED WITH EAST TIMOR. NEGOTIATIONS WITH EAST TIMORESE FOR THE PURCHASE OF WATER PURIFICATION EQUIPMENT FROM CENTRAL AUSTRALIA COMMENCED. DESIGNS OF LOW COST HOUSING ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE PHILIPPINES BY A DARWIN COMPANY. AN INTEGRATED MEAT PROCESSING PROPOSAL FOR THE PHILIPPINES IS UNDER CONSIDERATION. SAN MIGUEL CORPORATION, WHICH IS THE BIGGEST FOOD INDUSTRY GROUP IN THE PHILIPPINES, INDICATED STRONG INTEREST IN THE SUPPLY OF CAMEL MEAT.
