A POSSIBLE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE NORTHERN TERRITORY AND KHAN HOA PROVINCE IN VIETNAM WAS A DIRECT OUTCOME FROM EXPO. 8 ENQUIRIES WERE RECEIVED FROM HONG KONG INTO THE EXPORT OF SEAFOOD, BANANAS AND MANGOES. ENQUIRIES WERE RECEIVED FROM HAINAN (HIGH-NAN) INTO CROP SPRAY AND RESIDENTIAL INSECT AND PEST SPRAY EQUIPMENT. A MAJOR GOVERNMENT CORPORATION IN SHENYANG IS SEEKING TRADING OPPORTUNITIES IN TROPICAL FRUIT AND SEAFOOD. THE ACT DELEGATION ESTIMATED THE IMMEDIATE VALUE OF BUSINESS ACHIEVED AT EXPO TO BE IN EXCESS OF $15,000 AND IN EXCESS OF $400,000 IN THE NEXT 12 MONTHS. AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE BUSINESS REVIEW, BOSS RACING AUSTRALIA PTY LTD, DECOIN PTY LTD AND SONTEC (ACT) PTY LTD ARE AMONGST ACT COMPANIES WHICH INDICATED SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF FUTURE BUSINESS.
