A TASMANIAN FIBREGLASS COMPANY IS RETURNING TO DARWIN TO ADVANCE BUSINESS CONTACTS MADE DURING EXPO. FROM QUESTIONNAIRES RECEIVED TO DATE, IT IS ESTIMATED THAT SOME $240,000 OF INCREASED BUSINESS HAS BEEN GENERATED SO FAR FROM THE INDUSTRY SHOWCASE TO DEFENCE. WHILE SOUTH AUSTRALIA IS YET TO FULLY QUANTIFY OUTCOMES FROM EXPO, I UNDERSTAND THAT PROMISING CONTACTS WERE MADE AND, IF PROJECTS ARE FULLY REALISED, FINANCIAL OUTCOMES TOTALLING MORE THAN $100,000 WILL BE ACHIEVED. A JOINT WATER RETICULATION PROJECT IS BEING BROKERED AS A RESULT OF EXPO THOUGH OUTCOMES ARE NOT YET QUANTIFIABLE. 9
