Donald declared the m eeting open at 1 1 . 00am. John Gawura read out the agenda items to the Council and s t a r ted wi th i tem 1 . / ITEM 1 . / WOMEN'S RESOURCE CENTRE & OUTSTATION HEALTH Gawura read out, an exp lanatio n to the Council what th is proposal is about . Gawura then asked the Council i f they agreed w ith t h is proposal . Micky Dhambarra e xp la in ed why the Gapuwiyak Council has proposed to swap . A lfred ; The Wom en's Resource Centre is in town and it should be run by the Gapuwiyak Council . The O u tstatio n Health i s for Homelands and should be run by the Resource Centre . A ll members present agreed to swap over the Women's Resource for the O u tstatio n Health . Micky asked how the s t a f f w ill be paid at the Wom en's Resource Centre . Sonny Deo exp la in ed that the Women's Resource has not received any funding to date, , bu-t. he w il l make some phone c a l l s and see what is happening . Linda w il l be working at the Women's Resource Centre w ith 2 Balands women & 2 Yolngu women . The Gapuwiyak Council w il l top u p the CDEP wages .
