Cent- 3 ITEM 8./ LEASING VEHICLE FOR OUTSTATION NEEDS. Gawura explained the concept to the Council and they agreed that Sonny Deo deduct the amount of '35.00 out of each CDEP participants wage , once they signed an agreement that this be allowed . ITEM 9./ BUDGETS 95/96 FINANCIAL YEAR Sonny was asked to go through the budgets with Council . Sonny explained that there were discrepancies with the letters of Offer and ATSIC budget line items when you add them up they do not correspond . Once the figures are clarified he will send us a c o p y and discuss it at the ne x t me e t i n g . The Council moved a motion that they would have to wait until the next meeting . Moved by Terry Ritharrmiwuy Second by Davis Muwarra ITEM 10./ YARRI FISHING BUDGET This matter was agreed to be discussed at the next- meeting when budgets were being discussed . ITEM 11./ SONNY DEO'S - CONTINUED EMPLOYMENT The Council discussed this matter amongst them selves . Sonny Deo asked if the Council wished him to leave the meeting while the Council decided . The Council agreed there wasn't a need for Sonny to leave . Sonny was asked if they continued his employment as the NHRC accountant - would Cleanthouse & Deo offer training to the Yolnu Staff Sonny promised that he would . Sonny explained to Council how he has trained other organizations staff for the last 3 years . The Council agreed, that Cleanthouse & Deo remain as the NHRC Accountant for the next 4 financial years . Moved By Richard Bulupal Second By Sammy Guyula ITEM 12./ 2 PEOPLE TO TRAVEL TO ART SHOP IN DARWIN 22-23- 24 September 95 . The Council agreed Manay and Donald are to go . ITEM 13./ COUNCIL MEETINGS - WM OFTEN The Council moved that meeting would be held in the second week of every month and for Sonny Deo be present to explain NHRC financial situation . Moved Terry Nut.iapuy Second Tom Gunaminy Donald thanked all present for attending the meeting and declared that the time was 5.05 pm and. the meeting is closed .
