Richard - There seems to be a communication problem with ATSIC and Cleanthous & Deo . This is common knowledge . ATSIC will have to improve their communications all round. They have with Ngadunggay but their is still a problem with ATSIC & Sonny . It seems to be personal not professional . Ngadunggay Council had to ask Ross McDougall if 2 Nhulunbuy ATSIC staff Paula and Russel not to be involved or correspond in any way with Ngadunggay due to the fact that they were unprofessional . Russel was saying that Paula hated Gawura - Sonny and myself and Russel. The Council did not know what to do or believe* so they requested them both to stay away and to have a new person appointed to Ngadunggay . Peter - Yes ATSIC will have to improve their communication skills . I will be writing this in my report . ATSIC staff will need to resolve this problem . It does appear to be personal . If it is not resolved it will continue to affect the operations of Ngadunggay and that is what we want to stop . Karen - Sonny had an uninvited guest at the meeting in Darwin . Richard - Yes we all knew that Colin would foe there . Karen - ATSIC didn't . Peter - Does Ngadunggay have a management structure . Richard - Yes ! a very good one . You will have to talk to Gawura about that * he was the person who thought of how it was to be structured . Gawura explained how the structure worked . Peter agreed that the structure was very good . Peter took a copy and a copy was given to Karen . Peter - Do you have an asset register . Richard - Yes . Lyn has .just completed a current register. Richard explained problems with compiling the information and valuation estimates . Peter - I suppose I am finished now . There doesn't seem to be any problems out here at all . That is all we need to know . Peter thanked us for our time and Richard drove them around town to look at some of Ngadunggay assets . They left for Gove about 2.30 pm .
