ITEM 5 MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB To act as the Accountants of Ngadunggay Homeland Resource Centre Aboriginal Corporation. To implement Ngadunggay Homeland Resource Centre Aboriginal Corporations decision and to ensure that all services are carried out effectively as required by the Ngadunggay Homeland Resource Centre Aboriginal Corporation in accordance with any obligations set out in contracts by funding bodies. To provide advice to Ngadunggay Homeland Resource Centre Aboriginal Corporation on any matters relating to the functions CDEP. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ARE TO 1. Advise Ngadunggay Homeland Resource Centre Aboriginal Corporation on appropriate accounting policies. 2. Report of Ngadunggay Homeland Resource Centre Aboriginal Corporation on matters including: * General finance related correspondence * Financial matters * Audit findings 3. Ensure financial records are kept current and in accordance with Statutory and funding obligations. 4. Ensure budgeting and reporting timetables are met. 5. Analyse financial reports, compare budget to actual income and expenditure, and identify and correct any problematic areas. 6. Be responsible for the authorisation of the following: * Ngadunggay Homeland Resource Centre Aboriginal Corporation orders * Ngadunggay Homeland Resource Centre Aboriginal Corporation payments * Payroll
