2.2.1., 2.2.3 My comments above refer. 2.2.4 Delivery services have been provided to outstations where the CDEP supervisor is also a member of the Homeland Council thus discharging his responsibilities. Proposal for quarterly returns instead of monthly. 2.2.5 The question of incorporating special condition to funds has also been addressed above. 3.1..1. Formal three year Development Plans will be prepared soon - at the present we are pursuing our commercial fishing project. No Work No Pay policy implementation is the responsibility of the Supervisor concerned and payment is made on his preparation o f work sheets. CDEP capital was significantly under-expended - reasons are given above and this is attributed to merger frustration. ATSIC officials who participated in the meetings will be able to vouch for this. The over-spending in the purchase of tractor and 4 x 4 works out to only $1680 and not $9680 as quoted by you. 3.2.2. ATSIC was consulted before our purchases. The Comments on Recommendations have all been addressed in full and in view of the comments and counter proposals, I hope you will reconsider your report and make appropriate adjustmnents before presentation is made to ATSIC. My committee is looking positively to deliver good packages for the betterment o f the community in general which will eventually lead to self-reliance and independence. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any further clarification. I am aware of your intentions which are good for our Homeland and I look forward to your assistance and co-operation in achieveing our future goals. Thank you. Yours sincerely J im * * * * BRIAN WANAMBI CHAIRPERSON.
