PAINTING 1. The Vision for HALT BY: Andrew Japaljarri Spencer. The painting is the expression of the re-emergence of the Aboriginal way of living and learning- The transformed HALT will carry this renewed spirit of learning to the Communities. The three large circles represent HALT educators (Yapa) and Community Workers , each working in their traditional geographical place. The patterns describe how people will come in with information; not the Kartia way of taking information out to the Yapa. The Yapa are working out their own problems in the Yapa way. When this is done, Yapa and Kartia can work as a team to share mutual problems.
