The program proposed to achieve priorities se t w ith in the Action P lan will be w orked on concurren tly by each A ustra lian S ta te an d T erritory an d reported on nationally as follows: 1993 B roadening w ork education: im proving teach ing practice. 1994 E lim inating sex-based h a ra ssm en t: reform ing th e cu rricu lum . 1995 A ddressing the needs of girls a t risk: im proving th e educa tional outcom es of girls who benefit lea s t from schooling. 1996 E xam ining the construc tion of gender: chang ing o rgan isation an d m anagem en t practice. 1997 Second five year review of the N ational Policy for the E duca tion of Girls in A ustra lian Schools. G en d er ISquity in C u rricu lu m R eform The G ender E quity in C urricu lum Reform Project co n tin u es to provide a m ajor focus for the response to the N ational Policy for th e E duca tion of G irls in A ustra lian Schools. The pro ject seeks to en su re th a t the cu rricu lum in schools is equally re levan t to girls an d boys and th a t resou rces and m ateria ls are gender inclusive. T his includes all collaborative cu rricu lu m s ta te m e n ts an d profiles in English. M athem atics, Science, Technology, S tu d ies of Society an d the E nvironm ent, H ealth and Physical E ducation , Language o th er th a n English, and th e Arts. As the Territory will be m ak ing a m ajor move tow ards profiling from 1994 considerable p rogress tow ards inclusive cu rricu lu m will be m ade, u sing these docum en ts a s key resou rces.
