7 liquor that should be available for members of their community. With the full cooperation and consent of the Aboriginal community a strict upper limit on the quantity and type of liquor to be served from the club is often written into the licence conditions by the Commission. The Chairman and to a lesser extent the Registrar is continually called upon by the licensees of the Aboriginal Clubs, the Executive of the Community Councils and in some cases the women's groups to address public meetings within the community to assist with their better understanding of the role of the Commission and the role the licensee must play in ensuring legislation and licence conditions are adhered to.
