LIQUOR COMMISSION Scope In compliance with Section 67 of the Financial Administration and Audit Act, I have inspected and audited the accounts and records of the Northern Territory Liquor Commission for the year ended 30 June 1993. The Commission was responsible for the keeping of the accounts and records, and for the maintenance of internal control in and over those accounts and records and its operations. The audit has been planned and performed in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards and Practice Statements having regard to the character and effectiveness of the internal control so as to provide a reasonable level of assurance as to whether the receipt and expenditure of moneys and the acquisition and disposal of property complied with legislative requirements. My procedures included examination on a test basis of evidence supporting transactions. Matters for Attention No significant matters arose during the audit that require your attention.
