Northern Territory Liquor Commission THE COMMISSION & To exercise the powers and functions enshrined in the Liquor Act, the Liquor Commission was established under section 6. 4 The composition of the Commission is in accordance with the provisions of section 7. the Chairman who is an employee within the meaning of the Public Service Act; a legal practitioner with at least 5 years experience as a solicitor or barrister in Australia; and three other members. Members for 1992/93 were: Mr Kelvin Rae to 14 March 1993 Mr John Maley from 15 March 1993 Mr Terry Coulehan legal practitioner Mr Bruce Deans community member Mr John Maley community member (July 1992 to March 1993) Mrs June Tuzewski community member (from August 1992) Mrs Jan Hardwick community member (from April 1993) Mrs Mae Govan as deputy for Mrs June Tuzewski 1 All members of the Commission are appointed by the Minister.
