Made available via the Publications (Legal Deposit) Act 2004 (NT).; On 27 October 2015, TNG Limited (TNG) submitted a Notice of Intent to the Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) outlining a proposal for Darwin Refinery. TNG proposes to construct and operate the Darwin Refinery on Middle Arm, Darwin Harbour, adjacent to the Elizabeth River (within Lot 1817, Hundred of Ayers). The refinery would process magnetite concentrate railed from TNG’s (separately proposed) Mt Peake Project, 1,400 km south of Darwin. Terms of Reference to assist the proponent in preparing the draft EIS for Darwin Refinery were issued on the 20 May 2016.
TNG Limited (TNG) submits this Notice of Intent (NOI) to the Northern Territory Environment Protection Authority (NT EPA) and Department of Lands Planning and Environment (DLPE) as formal notification of its proposal to construct and operate the Darwin Refinery (Refinery).
