ARRANGEMENTS TO MINOR CHANGES IN ELECTIVE OFFERINGS. HOWEVER, MR SPEAKER, THE FACULTY OF ARTS HAS BEEN THE MOST AFFECTED. I AM INFORMED THAT, AT LEAST IN PART, THE NECESSARY CHANGES HAVE BEEN ABSORBED INTO THE RE STRUCTURING OF THE BACHELOR OF ARTS DEGREE WHICH WAS ALREADY UNDER WAY IN PREPARATION FOR THE INTRODUCTION OF A NEW DEGREE STRUCTURE. THE ADVICE I HAVE BEEN GIVEN, MR SPEAKER, IS THAT THE AVAILABILITY OF ADDITIONAL, MULTI-DISCIPLINARY SEQUENCES AND EXISTING SEQUENCES OFFERED IN OTHER FACULTIES WILL ADD A FURTHER DIMENSION OF CHOICE AND FLEXIBILITY IN MEETING STUDENTS DEMANDS IN THE FACULTY OF ARTS. MR SPEAKER, FOR VOCATIONAL EDUCATION & TRAINING PROGRAMS, ANY CHANGES WILL BE MADE AFTER DUE CONSULTATION WITH THE RELEVANT INDUSTRY TRAINING ADVISORY
