Leasehold Assets At the balance sheet date, the trust was in possession of leasehold land and buildings to be conserved as heritage sites. Due to the nature of these properties and the restrictions on their transfer the directors are of the opinion that the value of the leases, which may in any event be indeterminable, should not be brought into the financial statements. 11
