i ANNUAL REPORT 1994-95 Jnh Rotation Scheme: The Job Rotation Scheme, which was introduced last year, has been successfully implemented within the Department Five employees participated in the Scheme during the year. To date, three employees have been successful in attaining a position within their chosen field. Participating employees were from Government House, Policy and Coordination and Management Services. Participation in Training Schemes: The Department provided training for trainees under the following schemes: Australian Trainee ship Scheme Disadvantaged Employment Program Graduate Program School Leaver Employment Program Top End Group Training Scheme Vacation Employment Program Work Experience Program Promote equality of opportunity throughout the Department. During the year the Department's Equal Opportunity Management Plan was reviewed. The Plan is being revised to reflect legislative changes and developments in equal opportunity policy. Develop agency-specific policies and procedures. A policy on eyesight testing has been developed and approved by Management The Department's policy on study assistance has been further developed and will be forwarded to Management for consideration. The policy on meal allowance is currently at draft stage. Further development of the Payroll Module o f PIPS. This is an ongoing process. Implementation of the Job Evaluation System into PIPS. The Job Evaluation System Module has been implemented within the Department Department of the Chief Minister 57
