i ANNUAL REPORT 1994-95 Air Sampling Test Top End Biocheck, a microbiology monitoring service, conducted an indoor air quality and microbiology survey at the administration buildings at Government House. Organisms were found which could contribute to staff experiencing such problems as sore eyes and general respiratory discomfort As a result of the recommendation, the building's air-conditioning ducting and air vents were thoroughly disinfected. Air vents are to be cleaned routinely and air sampling will be carried out on a regular basis. Courses During the year, employees participated in Fire Safety and First Aid Training Courses and a Workshop on Alcohol in the Workplace Issues. Department of the Chief Minister 69
