Abstract
The major objective of this report is to develop a Roadmap for substituting a large component of diesel generation with renewable energy and low emissions technology in remote communities by 2020, including financing options. The Roadmap identifies opportunities for skills transfer, training and management in communities to progress Government's broader objectives of Indigenous economic development, ‘Closing the Gap of Indigenous Disadvantage' and remote service delivery reform under ‘Working Futures' policy. - Introduction and Objectives,
