In respect to my duties as Accountable Officer, pursuant to section 13 of the Financial Management Act 1 9 9 5 ,1 advise to the best of my knowledge and belief that: - e 0 Q_ CD 0 1 "to Z5c c . < (a) proper records of all transactions affecting the agency are kept, including the recording of this agencys transactions undertaken by the Department of Corporate and Information Services. Employees under my control observe the provisions of the Financial Management Act, the Financial Management Regulations and the Treasurers Directions (b) procedures within the agency afford proper internal control through use of the accounting and property manual prepared by the Department of Business, Industry and Resource Development in accordance with the requirements of the Financial Management Act (c) no indication of fraud, malpractice, material breach of legislation or delegation, major error in or omission from the accounts and records exists (d) in accordance with the requirements of Section 15 of the Financial Management Act, the internal audit capacity available to the agency is adequate and the results of internal audits have been reported to me (e) the financial statements included in the Annual Report have been prepared from proper accounts and records and are in accordance with Treasurers Directions (f) all Employment Instructions issued by the Commissioner for Public Employment have been satisfied. 5<3 September 2004 Department of Business, Industry & Resource Development 1
