General Commentary All customer distribution channels remain vitally important to the TIO Croup. From a MAC perspective, the continued ability to cater for the needs of claimants in the Branch, over the phone through the Call Centre as well as over the internet are also important. However, it is equally important to attain the right balance of channels for the TIO Group environment, taking into account the costs associated with each. Increasing cost effective distribution channels are integral to the sustainable growth of the TIO Group as well as the MAC Business in order to ensure suitable levels of claimant accessibility to MAC services are achieved. 2.1.8 Management Information System (MIS) enhancement Summary/Highlights Key Corporate , M easurement of Strategy Initiatives (How/Activities) When success Management Information Systems MIS Automation Review effectiveness of MIS Project and capital expenditure enhancements 30 June 2007 30 June 2008 30 June 2009 't Satisfaction rating of key users of MIS Reports after full implementation General Commentary The strategy for MIS enhancement is to continue to develop the necessary reports and measures to ensure TIO continues to perform well in all areas of the business, including the MAC Business. This strategy is considered by management to be a fundamental cornerstone of managing the business successfully. Management by fact is the anticipated outcome from this strategy. Furthermore, the Productivity and Efficiency Gains strategy detailed above, and in particular the BPI program, will be capable of accurate measurement in terms of sustainable outcomes.
