In addition to the initiatives detailed above, the Prudential Management Strategy encompasses a number, of smaller, yet important projects to strengthen the TIO Croup and MAC Business governance arrangements including: Achieving necessary efficiency gains Assisting the Government to comprehensively review the TIO Act and implement any of its recommendations, including as envisaged the structural changes to the way TIO conducts it's business on a go forward basis Implementing operational risk management framework Implementing a policy framework Review of various Corporate Treasury requirements (including asset strategy and investment consultant) It is also worthy to note that from a MAC Business perspective, the removal of common law entitlements for non-residents and enhanced matching of income benefits to recipients in the NT will assist the MAC Business achieve the long term solvency targets. 2.1.5 Cultural Change Summary/Highlights Key Corporate Strategy Cultural Change Initiatives (How/Activities) When M easurement of success w Staff retention program 31 December 2006 Skills/Capabilities/Succession 31 December 2006 Framework Review of staff benefits 31 March 2007 Staff Satisfaction A Review of cultural change 31 March 2007 'hStaff retention 9 program Service quality program (as part 30 June 2007 of BPI) Leadership program - new intake 30 June 2007 General Commentary This strategy (and associated initiatives outlined above) is to continue to build upon the cultural change of the TIO Group to one focused on commercially prudent performance, customers and the community. Incorporated into this strategy is a desire to position the TIO Group as an employer of choice by providing for clear long-term career path opportunities and attracting and retaining talented people. Staff retention is a critical feature of this strategy. Cumulatively, all of the initiatives are designed to ensure TIO attracts, develops and retains the right calibre of individuals to succeed. Corporate Services Division and the Chief Executive's area champion this strategy.
