Assemble at 5.30 at the Anzac Hill end of Todd Mall. 6.45pm WELCOME TO COUNTRY AND OFFICIAL OPENING by Minister Marion Scrymgour, Minister for Arts & Museums in the presence of Her Worship the Mayor of Alice Springs, Fran Kilgariff, other dignitaries and the people of Central Australia. Where Main Stage, HUB Space 7pm - midnight BUSH BANDS BASH A musical extravaganza featuring Indigenous bands from remote bush communities across Central Australia. This is a celebration of contemporary Indigenous music and culture from the red centre, all focused in one place for one night. The event will also showcase multimedia content produced by the communities - short films, animations and film clips. Get ready to ROCK from the heart. All Welcome. BBB is a drug & alcohol free event. They are all designed to be picked up and read. Where Dymocks Alice Springs, Alice Plaza Cost FREE 9am-5pm POROUS, LAYERS OF SEEING Exhibition by Sally Mumford - Glass/Drawing/Tempura - an exploration of the layers of seeing in Central Australia through three different mediums.
