D A R W IN P O R T C O R P O R A T IO N A N N U A L R E P O R T 2 00 4/ 20 05 56 9.4 Financial Statements and Notes Certification of Financial Statements Statement by Accountable Officer and Principal Accounting Officer for Darwin Port Corporation. In our opinion: (i) The accompanying financial statements and notes are based on proper accounts and records and are in agreement with the accounts. They have been properly drawn up so as to present fairly the financial position of Darwin Port Corporation as at 30 June 2005, its financial performance and its cash flows for the year ended on that date; (ii) The financial statements are in accordance with Accounting Standards and other mandatory professional reporting requirements in Australia and the requirements of the Financial Management Act . (iii) At the time of signing, we are not aware of any circumstances that would render the particulars included in the financial statements misleading or inaccurate.
