Your petitioners therefore humbly pray: That the Minister Immediately cease to support the Heavy Vehicle Diversion in the Railway Terrace Precinct. We the undersigned believe that the Railway Terrace Precinct must remain a green space and heritage area for the future generations of Katherine, Response Thank you for your letter of 18 August 2010 relating to Petition No. 41. I support the Petition, and pursuant to Standing Order 10GA, I provide the following. Planning for the heavy vehicle corridor adjacent to Railway Terrace In Katherine has ceased, and alternative options are now being considered.
