Department Health and Families 75 Eliminating bullying and harassment awareness sessions for managers and staff This program aims to reduce the number of incidents of bullying and harassment by addressing the responsibilities of managers, introducing policies and procedures, identifying # $ *;;XZ';> * & attended information sessions. Mediation skills for managers This program supports the Bullying and Harassment Awareness Framework by providing managers with practical mediation skills. The skills workshop is an introduction to mediation " workplace. During 2009-10, 130 managers completed this program across the Territory, an increase of 91% compared to last year. Dealing with the tough stuff This one day program provides managers with a set of skills, based on practical positive ! ! & & & situations. Sixty-six participants attended this program. Certificate III in Health Support Services This program provides Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) with accredited training, workplace skills and a high level of competence in the application of these skills within the workplace, !! ! staff. The Department continues to support PCAs to undertake this training with 30 PCAs currently enrolled in the program. Management Training Essentials Training Essentials of leading people Parts 1 and 2 Part 1 of this program focuses on developing skills and providing tools to assist with people management. The program covers human resource management delegations, Work Partnership Plans, communication, legal responsibilities and the relationship between leadership and management. A total of 123 staff completed this program. * " >"& >&" K> performance. This program was completed by 104 employees. Essentials of managing procurement Parts 1 and 2 ! K& introduced in 2009. The programs provide participants with improved understanding and @ ! services. A total of 293 participants have attended the training in 2009-10. 130 managers completed Mediation skills training
