V1 - NTNE01Z01MA THERE will be something for all members of the family at the very last Darwin City Boutique Markets of 2017. Hosted by the City of Darwin and the Darwin City Waterfront Retailers Association Inc, the vibrant event will be held in the heart of Darwin on October 6 from 3pm to 9pm. Darwin City Waterfront Retailers Association Incs Renee Milatos said the Smith St Mall will be transformed into a Friday Night Market. There will be food and craft stalls, late night shopping, entertainment and activities for the kids, she said. Theres going to be a huge line-up of entertainment including live music, circus and An Advertising Feature DARWIN CITY BOUTIQUE MARKETS 27 Fun, food and entertainment fire shows, roving entertainers, stilt performers and heaps of kids activities like face painting and a jumping castle. Those with a hungry stomach will be well and truly ca tered for with a wide variety of food and drinks on offer at the markets. Yummy sweet treats include curled ice cream, crepes, fairy floss, artisan doughnuts plus more, Ms Milatos said. Food includes Greek, Thai, German, Austrian, Vegetarian, Spanish, Russian, Korean and Vietnamese to name a few cuisines.Members of the public will enjoy free street parking after 3pm and a section of Knuckey St between Smith St and Austin Lane will be closed, allowing market goers to dine out under the stars.
