184 Department of Justice Licensing, Regulation and Alcohol Strategy Administers and enforces the Northern Territorys regulatory regimes for gaming, wagering, liquor, kava, tobacco, private security, business affairs, associations administration, licensing under the Consumer Affairs and Fair Trading Act, agents licensing and escort agencies. Provides support for the following independent statutory authorities: Northern Territory Licensing Commission; Northern Territory Racing Commission; Real Estate Agents Licensing Board; and Agents Licensing Fidelity Guarantee Fund. Develops and implements strategies for reducing alcohol supply, consumption and resultant harm.
