Strategic Issues for 201213 Society Implementing electoral roll register reviews to improve roll quality and elector participation for the Legislative Assembly general elections scheduled for August2012. Evaluating services provided at the March2012 council elections in conjunction with developing plans for the 2012 LegislativeAssembly general elections. Implementing a LegislativeAssembly election awareness campaign for the general public and special needs groups to ensure election messages are widely disseminated. Continuing to enhance and increase the electoral education program in schools. Refining election service delivery models in the context of a fixed date LegislativeAssembly general election to take advantage of increased planning opportunities and meet increased public expectations. Reviewing local government legislation following new administrative responsibilities for the legislation expected to be effective in the 201213 reporting year. Budget Highlights for 201213 Society Additional funding of $0.4million in 201112 and $0.6million in 201213 to conduct the LegislativeAssembly general elections in August2012.
