Junction Journal November, 2017 2 How many weeks to Christmas do you ask? Not many and they will certainly fly. We are now coming to the pointy end of the year with functions nearly every week. This combined with possible wet weather could spell a hectic drive home so I ask please aim to arrive safely home after your festive function and drive to the conditions. Congratulations to Sue on reaching a milestone and more congratulations go to the winners of the tennis comp and the netball comp. It was with sadness that we said goodbye to a very dear old friend and long term Douglas Daly resident recently. Scotty was a unique character who will be greatly missed by all. Our thoughts are with his family at this time, especially his children, Katarina, Kylie and Tommy. Looking for a job well you will need to apply really quick for the two being advertised at the Douglas Daly Primary School. Both due to start in the new school year in 2018. If you have any articles, news or festive photos then as soon as you have them email them through. The next Junction Journal will be out prior to Christmas Day so let us know what you would like to see in this edition and of course in 2018. Happy festive partying to you all.
