MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS - Wednesday 28 November 2012 53 The Assembly again resolved itself into Committee of the Whole. ___________________ In Committee (The Deputy Speaker and Chair of Committees (Mr Higgins) in the Chair On recommittal - Question - Bill as a whole be agreed to. Debate resumed. Bill as a whole agreed to, without amendment. Bill to be reported without amendment. _________________ The Assembly resumed; the Speaker took the Chair; and the Deputy Speaker and Chair of Committees (Mr Higgins) reported that the Committee had agreed to the Bill, without amendment. Report reported, report adopted. The Minister for Lands, Planning and the Environment (Mr Mills) the Bill moved That the Bill be now read a third time. Question - put. The Assembly divided (the Speaker, Hon. K. Purick, in the Chair) - AYES, 14 NOES, 8 Ms Anderson Ms Fyles Mr Chandler Mr Gunner Mr Conlan Mr Henderson Ms Finocchiaro Ms Lawrie Mr Giles Mr McCarthy Mr Higgins Mr Vatskalis Mr Kurrupuwu Mr Vowles Mrs Lambley Ms Walker Ms Lee Mr Mills Mrs Price Mr Styles Mr Tollner Mr Westra van Holthe And so it was resolved in the affirmative. Bill read a third time and passed to be a proposed law. 15. TREASURER'S ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT 2011/2012 REPORT NOTED: The Order of the Day having been read for the resumption of debate on the question That the Assembly take note of the Report Debate resumed. Question put and passed. 16. GOVERNMENT RESPONSE TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE BOARD OF INQUIRY INTO CHILD PROTECTION MINISTERIAL STATEMENT MOTION TO NOTE STATEMENT: The Minister for Children and Families (Mrs Lambley) made a statement relating to the Recommendations of the Board of Inquiry into Child Protection. Mrs Lambley moved That the Assembly take note of the Statement. Debate ensued. On the motion of the Leader of Government Business (Mr Elferink) debate was adjourned. 17. ADJOURNMENT:
