Abstract
This report was commissioned by Road Projects Division of the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Environment to assess the archaeological and heritage potential of proposed roadworks along the Plenty Highway, from chainages 150- 167km and 420 and 499.5-km. The scope of works included a number of gravel pits and gravel search areas within these chainages. The scope of works specified that rocky outcrops and creek crossings be given special attention either side of the current road alignment between chainages 460 and 486 km. - Executive summary,
